1. Who we are
Vintage Trade Co. is a trade name of IV & MP Investments LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company ("Vintage Trade Co.," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through www.vintagetrade.co (the "Site") and when you correspond with us about buying items.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
When you use a contact or production inquiry form, or email us, we collect what you choose to provide. That can include:
- your name, email address and phone number;
- your company, production title and department;
- the items you're interested in, your message, quantities, dates, budget and ship-to location;
- if you buy from us, billing and shipping details needed to complete and deliver the sale.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, the Site's hosting and security services automatically process technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested, and the date and time of your visit. We use this to deliver the Site, keep it secure and prevent abuse.
Bot protection
Our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. Turnstile evaluates signals from your browser and device to decide whether a submission is likely to come from a person. Cloudflare's handling of this information is described in its Turnstile privacy addendum.
3. How we use it
- to read and reply to your questions, comments and concerns;
- to find items for you and send photos, descriptions and quotes;
- to process, ship and support purchases;
- to keep business records and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations;
- to protect the Site, our business and our customers from spam, fraud and misuse.
We don't use your information for automated decision-making, and we don't send marketing email unless you've asked us to.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as needed to run the business:
- Service providers who host the Site, protect it, and deliver and store our email (for example, Cloudflare for hosting, security and form delivery, and our email provider), under terms that limit how they may use it;
- Shipping and freight carriers, who receive the name, address and contact details needed to deliver your order;
- Payment processors, if you pay through one, to complete your payment;
- Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, where needed;
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, property or safety, or that of others;
- A successor business, if we're involved in a merger, sale or transfer of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Cookies & tracking
We don't use advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers. Our hosting and security services may set strictly necessary cookies or use similar technologies to keep the Site secure and working, such as during a Turnstile check. If we add privacy-friendly analytics in the future, we'll update this policy.
Your browser may offer a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control setting. Because we don't sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, there is nothing for these signals to switch off on our Site.
6. How long we keep it
We keep inquiry messages for as long as needed to answer you and follow up, and for a reasonable time afterward in case you write back. Records of sales are kept as long as tax, accounting and other legal obligations require. When we no longer need information, we delete it or keep it only in a form that no longer identifies you.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please don't send payment card numbers or other sensitive information through the contact forms.
8. Your choices & rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct information that's wrong;
- delete your information, unless we need to keep it for a legal or legitimate business reason, such as a completed sale;
- stop contacting you.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you additional rights, and you may use an authorized agent to make a request. To make any request, email hello@vintagetrade.co. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying to our decision with "Appeal" in the subject line.
9. Children
The Site is meant for adults and businesses. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
